To celebrate 50 years of operations, and to reward the numerous loyal and long-serving staff who have helped to achieve this landmark, Garth has introduced a staff loyalty bonus scheme.
The scheme rewards staff who reach milestones for long-service, ranging from achieving five years of service (the bronze award) right through to 30 years of service (the sapphire award). Each staff member qualifying for the scheme receives a financial bonus and a special edition Garth medallion with their name engraved on the back.
Gavin Hill, Garth’s Chief Executive Officer said: “We are so proud to have reached our 50-year anniversary. From our humble beginnings in 1971 as a small metal working factory in Melbourne, Australia, to an international enterprise serving some of the world’s most prestigious retailers; none of this would be possible without the help of our loyal staff, who I think of as being members of the Garth family.
“We are a small company, but I am delighted than so many of our staff have qualified for the bonus scheme. I think that our excellent staff retention is, in part, down to our focus on teamwork. The diverse skill sets of our employees and an appreciation of the value of cultural diversity means our team can share their great ideas across geographical boundaries whilst at the same time giving everyone a sense of belonging.
“I want to personally congratulate each and every staff member at Garth for their ongoing commitment, dedication and sheer hard work.”
